Tamkang University (TKU) is a private university in Taiwan, founded in 1950. The university is named after the Tamkang River .

In Global Views Monthly magazine’s “Taiwan Top Universities 2023” survey, TKU was ranked first in the “Humanities and Social Sciences Universities” category and third in the “Degrees of Education” category. Internationalization” among private schools4 . In 2022, TKU won the first “ APSAA Asia Pacific Sustainability Action ” award.
