The school was established in 1972 with the original name &#8220;Sze Hai College of Technology&#8221;. During the development process, the school changed its name many times and finally, on August 1, 2017, the school officially changed its name to &#8221; Hungkuo Delin University of Technology&#8221;.<\/strong><br \/>\nHDUT aims to cooperate with industry to establish the Internet of Things as a goal, to promote industrial economy. Key research topics include Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning, Computer Networks, Telecommunications, Computer Vision. HDUT reached 116th in Taiwan and 6191st in the world in the overall 2023 rankings, while achieving 2736th position for Electrical Engineering. HDUT has won many important awards, including the award for the best paper at the 59th International Academic Conference (AASE), and many other awards in international and domestic competitions.<br \/>\nHDUT is actively promoting foreign exchange\/training\/internship activities for students, as well as international cooperation and collaboration between industry and academia.
